Victoria Castle
A heritage campus turned 365-day sports district. Ice, hardwood, NFL grass, a promenade, and a merch royalty that pays the city back.
The district
Concept to community
Montréal does not need another sealed entertainment box. Victoria Castle is a district: the old hospital wing kept as a living castle, a mid-size arena at its feet, a football bowl built to NFL spec, housing and a promenade that ties it to the street.
The arena is a mini-Scotiabank — permanent home for the Montréal PWHL franchise, rapid-swap floor for WNBA expansion, FIBA, NCAA, any league that needs a downtown date. The gridiron is the signal: CFL stays, the NFL is told this is a serious city. The named conversation is bringing a franchise — the Jets as the test — to Québec.
Civic-Back is the funding rule. Two to five percent of every jersey and branded piece sold in the district goes to a municipal fund that repays public infrastructure and heritage work. Fans are not just buying gear. They are micro-investing in the district they walk.
Five moves
The machine
01
Multi-sport anchor
A mid-size mini-Scotiabank at the heart of the district. Permanent ice for the Montréal PWHL franchise. Rapid-swap floor for WNBA expansion, FIBA, NCAA, any league that needs a downtown date. Open door, 365-day revenue.
02
The NFL signal
CFL stays a cornerstone. The Castle upgrades the gridiron to NFL spec — luxury, logistics, a serious-city footprint. The named conversation is bringing a franchise to Québec. The Jets are the test case.
03
Academic & medical engine
The original hospital wing becomes a sports-medicine lab. University stage for doctors, therapists, scientists. Off-season magnet for North American athletes. Heritage walls kept in play.
04
Promenade & housing
Athlete and student residences built into the district. A massive pedestrian walk from the Castle into the city — a neighbourhood that works in January, not just on game night.
05
Civic-Back
Two to five percent of every jersey and branded piece sold in the district goes to a municipal fund. Public money for infrastructure and heritage gets repaid. Franchises keep the rest. Fans micro-invest when they buy the kit.

Seeking partners
If you can see this, we likely already have a campaign engineered for your property.
The Castle is a high-potential civic machine sitting in concept. We need collaborators who can drive the pipeline from drawing to dirt.
