Independent identity studio · Montréal

BirdSox is the independent, DIY antidote to overpriced, corporate sports branding.
The studio
Built on decades of action sports and skateboard subculture, we don't do glossy boardrooms or safe, copy-paste logos — we build tattoo-worthy brands from nothing into points of national pride.
While big-box agencies charge premium rates for sterile corporate polish, BirdSox delivers raw, hyper-local identity design with a sharp, authentic edge. We create the unforgettable, slightly unhinged sports properties that fans don't just buy merchandise for — they swear allegiance to.
House kit
Black, gold, cardinal. Script, mascot, night shield, cap. The studio sample — so a club can see the bar.

Project Guardland · Cleveland
The official rebrand left a colour on the table. Guardland Green is the Forest City sovereign identity — heritage, streetwear, legally unique. Prototype suite on request.

A heritage castle campus turned 365-day sports district — PWHL ice, WNBA floor, NFL-standard grass, and a merch royalty that pays the city back.

What we make
01
Names that belong to the town — history, wildlife, folklore, the thing people already say in the grocery line.
02
Crests, caps, and creatures built to stitch, print, and tattoo. No clip-art. No borrowed big-league silhouettes.
03
On-field systems: home, road, piping, numbers, the jacket a parent buys in April and still wears in October.
04
Domes, heritage walls, matchday, civic districts. Victoria Castle, a 365 hub, the walk from the parking lot to the first pitch. Place as identity — and as a repayment model a city can live with.
05
Caps, wool, cream tees, the piece a kid saves for. A colourway that can live on a bat, a banner, and a jacket.
06
Websites and decks that win a board, a city hall, or a league. Partners, not a stack of generic slides. Secure the blueprint.
How a brief runs
01
Town history, wildlife, mill stories, river names, the old club that almost made it. We start in the dirt, not in a trend deck.
02
If a forty-year-old would not get it tattooed, it is not done. Short, local, sayable in two languages when it has to be.
03
Marks that hold at eight millimetres on a cap and forty feet on a dome. One creature, one colour story.
04
Uniforms, merch, digital, matchday. The identity has to survive clay, washers, and a Saturday night floodlight.
05
A story ownership, council, and the stands can all repeat. We write it so it wins the room.
