Guelph Green Sox

Club identity · heron mark

The Speed River heron was already the city’s quiet mascot. Green Sox gives it a jersey.

Guelph’s Royals-era name never belonged to the river. The heron did. Green Sox keeps the Sox tradition Canadian baseball already understands, then roots the colour in the Speed River instead of a generic royal blue.

The mark is a great blue heron in mist — patient, local, and sharp enough to stitch. Cream and forest green, no clip-art crown.

A name people can say in a pub and a bird they already see on the walk home. That is the whole job.
