Steel, waterfalls, mill smoke — a dragon already living in the city, finally given a jersey.
Hamilton does not need an imported mascot. The mills, the escarpment, and the water already tell the story. Meteor Dragons pulls that industrial weather into a mark a steelworker would wear on a cap.
The creature is iron-scaled, ember-lit, and local — not a cartoon European dragon dropped on the harbour. Alternate paths in the same family (Kingstie, the lake-monster read) stay on the table; the lead is the mill dragon.
This is the kind of identity built to outlast a season: tattoo-worthy, historically rooted, and loud enough for a Saturday night in a steel town.
